Shiloh Cemetery

Shiloh Cemetery is located just outside of Rio Vista off of Hwy 12 on Shiloh Road. The first recorded burial for this cemetery dates back to 1874. The cemetery grounds surround the Shiloh Church which is located in front of the cemetery. The church was originally constructed in 1869 until a fire completely destroyed it in 1875. A new church was built in 1876 at a cost of less than $3,000-.

The Shiloh Cemetery and Church stand as monuments to the spirit of the community as well as the final resting spot for the early pioneers of Rio Vista and the surrounding area.
